Plumber inspecting sewer line with camera equipment in residential yard

Peace of Mind Sewer and Drain Inspection - $75

A professional sewer/drain camera inspection for $75 when all qualifying conditions are met. $75 Peace of Mind Inspection - when all qualifying conditions are met. For homeowners seeking a visual look inside an accessible sewer or drain line in Wytheville, Galax, Hillsville, Carroll County, Fort Chiswell, and surrounding Southwest Virginia communities, without immediately buying a larger diagnostic or cleaning service.

Does your sewer line qualify for the $75 inspection?

All of these conditions must be met for $75 pricing. Individual conditions are not enough on their own.

01

Service area

Generally within 20 miles of the center of Wytheville, plus residential properties in Galax, Hillsville, Carroll County, and Fort Chiswell. Outside the standard area but within the extended service area: add $45. More than 40 miles from Wytheville's center requires a custom quote or request before scheduling. If your address is uncertain, confirm eligibility first.

02

Easy, ordinary cleanout access

The cleanout must be identifiable, large enough for the camera, and reasonably accessible by ordinary means (for example, opening with a pipe wrench), without special equipment, excavation, substantial uncovering, demolition, or extended labor. The $75 price does not apply if the cleanout is buried, under concrete, covered by rubble, blocked by trees or substantial vegetation, under another permanent obstruction, or otherwise requires those efforts. Relevant Premium or access pricing applies, and excavation has no fixed price.

03

Accessible, non-obstructed line

The $75 price assumes the camera can enter and travel through the line. Root intrusion, pipe collapse or separation, severe buildup, substantial waste or debris, a belly or sag with standing water, an obstruction that stops the camera, or another significant condition materially preventing inspection may disqualify the $75 price. If a condition is found but the camera passes it and continues, no separate obstruction fee is charged; the service becomes the $175 Premium Inspection. If the camera cannot pass, we stop there and never claim sections beyond an obstruction were inspected.

04

Property type

Standard residential properties only. Commercial properties and rental units or properties operated as rentals are commercial or non-standard and do not qualify. Limited case-by-case commercial work may be available at separate pricing.

05

Pipe size and length

Generally 3-4 inches; other sizes may need different pricing or a custom quote. The $75 inspection covers up to 99 feet. The camera can inspect up to 165 feet when conditions permit, but that reach is not guaranteed. For a 100-165 ft line that otherwise qualifies, the confirmed price is $175 Premium plus a $40 length charge, for a $215 total. Bends, buildup, standing water, obstructions, configuration, access, and other conditions may limit distance.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What the $75 inspection does and does not include

The $75 service is a visual camera inspection of the qualifying accessible line. It is for homeowners who want to look inside an accessible sewer/drain line without immediately buying a larger diagnostic or cleaning service.

Included: visual camera inspection

A camera run through the qualifying accessible line to look for visible conditions such as cracks, breaks, root intrusion, pipe separation, buildup, obstructions, bellies/sags, and other visible conditions. We do not promise every defect will be found. If no issues are identified the peace of mind saving is applied which means it's only $75 for your drain inspection!

Not included: saved video or report

No downloadable or saved video and no formal written report. A saved video file and formal report require the $175 Premium Inspection, subject to applicable extra charges and whether usable footage can be obtained. Usable footage is not guaranteed.

Not included: cleaning and repairs

No extensive drain cleaning, no removal of major obstructions, and no sewer-line repair or replacement.

Not included: difficult or special access

No toilet removal, difficult-access work, excavation, or commercial service.

What the camera can and cannot do

The camera is visual and cannot see through pipe walls or guarantee detection of every hidden condition. Inspection may be limited by standing water, buildup, obstructions, configuration or bends, access, visibility, equipment distance, and conditions beyond an obstruction. Unviewed sections are not represented as inspected.

HONEST ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

We don't hide the details. Here's what you should know before we roll in.

What is included in the $75 inspection?

A visual camera inspection of a qualifying, accessible sewer/drain line up to 99 feet. It does not include a saved video file, a formal written report, extensive drain cleaning, major obstruction removal, toilet removal, difficult-access work, excavation, sewer-line repair or replacement, or commercial service.

Who qualifies for the $75 price?

You qualify when all conditions are met: you are in the standard service area, your property is standard residential, your cleanout is easy to access by ordinary means, your line is non-obstructed so the camera can travel it, and your pipe is generally 3-4 inches. $75 is not a universal price and not all properties qualify.

Why might the price be higher?

Charges depend on your actual conditions and may be cumulative. Distance, difficult access, toilet access, flange damage, or a longer line can add charges. Applicable charges must be confirmed before work begins.

Is cleaning, video, or a report included?

No. The $75 service is a visual inspection only. A saved video file and formal report require the $175 Premium Inspection. Extensive cleaning is a separate service.

What happens if the camera cannot get through?

If an obstruction stops the camera, we stop there and do not inspect beyond it. You can then choose available drain-cleaning or auger service or decline.
