Straight answers on who we can help and what the trip costs.
What qualifies for your sewer camera inspection?
Any residential or contractor line the camera can physically reach and traverse. If there is heavy standing water or a complete collapse, the line may need clearing first before we can run a full visual.
What does your service area cover?
We are based in Wytheville and serve the Twin Counties and SWVA, including Hillsville, Galax, Wythe, Carroll, and Grayson counties. If you are just outside that range, call us and we will tell you straight if you are covered.
Are there distance fees for jobs outside Wytheville?
We keep pricing simple. Fair travel is built into the job, but longer trips to the edge of our coverage area may add a modest mileage charge. You get the total before any work starts.
What are the requirements for utility locating?
The 512Hz locator only works on lines our sewer camera can reach and traverse. We do not locate every underground utility. If the line is blocked or inaccessible, the locator cannot do its job.
Who do you serve: homeowners, septic, or contractors?
All three. Homeowners looking for answers on a clogged line, septic systems needing a diagnostic look, and contractors digging near buried lines all use our inspections to avoid guessing.
What determines if a line qualifies for augering?
The motorized auger cuts through roots and grease, but the line needs to be structurally sound enough to handle it. If the camera shows a full collapse, we will flag it as a repair job, not a clearing job.
Still have questions?
Call or email us and we will confirm coverage and pricing before any work begins.
Swapping the 512Hz Locator for Short Lines
Our 512Hz locator needs a camera through the whole line to track it. Short pulls or partial runs stay mapped, and we mark what we find.
Straight terms, straight answers
We inspect what we can reach, quote what we know, and stand behind the work. Cancel 24 before we start for a partial refund
What counts as accepting these terms?
Requesting, scheduling, authorizing, or accepting service from Sewer Drain Cleaning & Inspection SWVA means you agree to these terms. Simple as that.
A short checklist that gets your line cleared
Accurate property info and clear access save us time and keep your price fair. Tell us about known blockages and cleanouts before we arrive.
We won't touch your wallet without asking
If a job needs more than the quote, we stop and tell you the price first. You decide. No surprise add-ons, ever.
A camera sees the pipe, not through it
The camera can't see behind pipe walls, so hairline cracks or hidden defects stay out of view. We'll flag what we can't verify and you approve any extra work.
Know what we're not responsible for
Our cameras spot problems, but pre-existing cracks, breaks, and root damage stay your call. We identify, but do not repair.
Mechanical augering, up to 99 feet
Our motorized auger clears blockages up to 99 feet from the access point. We don't guarantee permanent flow, handle structural repairs, or run extra passes without your approval first.
Inspection first, repair only if you say so
We inspect, clean, identify, and locate your lines. No automatic repair obligation. A finding just tells you what's there, so you set the next step.
What if we can't reach the line?
We may postpone or stop work if access is unsafe, the line is unreachable, or the job falls outside our equipment's reach. No work means no charge beyond the agreed scope. A $50 callout fee applies.
The invoice matches the work done
We handle payment after the approved job wraps, and every charge lands on one final invoice. No surprise fees. No invented payment methods, just the straight local price we talk about first.
Honest about what you're not getting
Our $75 Peace of Mind inspection shows you the pipe condition live. If you want the video, saved footage, or a formal report, or damage is identified that's the $175 Premium. Call +12762350531 to upgrade.
100% of what our camera sees, no more
A sewer camera shows us what's visible in your line, nothing more. Findings aren't an engineering report or structural certification.
Verify any contractor we refer
We may point you to another local contractor, but their price, licensing, and workmanship are on them. Call +12762350531 to discuss your sewer line needs directly.
Commercial jobs, only when the gear fits
We take commercial work when our equipment can handle it. Unusual systems may need a custom quote or get turned away. We are not a full-service commercial contractor.
Straight terms, no surprises
These terms keep both sides clear. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still stands. We may update this page, and Virginia law governs.
When do these terms kick in?
By requesting a quote or booking any service, you accept these terms. No hidden steps, no surprises. Just clear, local work.
